RJ Mursal: A voice from Kashmir Echoing through FM Tadka's Kashmir Local Show
"Asalamualaikum Adaab and Good Morning hai ji aap sabh ko is the first Local voice that you will hear at 10 AM in the morning of you tune in to 95 FM Tadka" Speaking on the local issues and happenings is none other than Kashmir's own Son of soil Mursal Ahmad AKA RJ Mursal.
A small town boy from Shopian district of Kashmir who wanted his voice to eco in woods and mountains of Kashmir.
He had started his journey with mic when he was 8 years old and went on to win many awards. He has hosted many events at Chandigarh and was working with a community radio of Panjab University Chandigarh untill he was noticed at a stage and given a chance to do internship at Red FM Chandigarh.
This is how he started his commercial Radio journey and now FM Tadka has given him the Mic for continuing his aspiration to speak to the people of Kashmir.
The Show that he hosts is Kashmir Local which Airs from 10-11 in the Morning, 01-02 in the afternoon, 04-05 in the evening and 08-09 at Night He mimics many bollywood celebrities and is also does the Voice overs too.
He has a cheesy as well as a serious character in him which gives him a tonal versatility during his show
He believes that It's not about people coming to Radio studios but it's all about Radio Reaching out to the people.
He has been active on social media and has received so much love around Kashmir as well as chandigarh. He hosts events at Srinagar as well.
RJ Mursal has worked with many brands like Levi’s, Indian terrain, PVR, Dell , VIVO and many more. According to him his two biggest achievements are Hosting the National Panjab Education Summit and winning first prize at a National fest in Panjab.
While speaking to AUYK Blogs, RJ Mursal said "I used to admire people like RJ Sofie, RJ Nasir, RJ Vijdaan Rayees, RJ Sameen and and today I have almost shared a stage and space with almost everyone of them"
With a certificate course in story telling and being the student of the second best Mass communication institute of India this boy is the new fish in the town who defines Radio as the love of his life and is living for the day when he hosts the biggest crowd in the world.
