Uzma Fatima : An aspiring writer from Uri, Baramulla
Uzma Fatima, daughter of Mukhtayar Hussain and Perveza Fatima is a19-year-old girl hailing from Paranpillan Uri in district Baramulla of Kashmir. She is pursuing bachelor's degree in business administration. Along with her degree she uplift her interest in writing.
She co-authored several books which include ravaged soul, positivity of love, society, from darkness to light , Euphoria , tom and Jerry, the alluring bonds, Hiraeth, our childhood ,shimmering cloud kns ,eyes speak truth, judgmental soul , lioness , my mom , love etc. and also compiling a book " suicide is not a solution ". And also working on her own solo book on kashmir .
While having a conversation with AUYK Blogs, Uzma Fatima said " I have interest in writing from the childhood but I didn't get any platform because I am belonging from a RBC category of district baramulla.
Uzma Fatima said that she has faced many up and down in her writing journey , Many disappointment but there was some people who always support her . And always encouraged and pushed her forward.
Uzma Fatima hails from an area of Uri where people are still struggling for platforms where people are talented but no one tries to find their abilities.
She said that when she take steps out of house for find herself and her abilities. The society seems to be making harsh statements on her but there is always a ray of hope for it. Mr. Mukhtar Hussain, her father who always supports him. Her whole family ignores society and fully supports her.
Uzma Fatima said "I am very fortunate to be the daughter of such supportive parents and fortunately I have the best friends among my own siblings" and always thank those who made my decision and try to distract me . Because they are the ones who push me up.
Uzma Fatima like to explore her writing through poems , quote, short stories and Articles. In 3 different language , English , Hinglish and Urdu .
As a writer, she said, she was inspired by a famous writer and author, Ashish Bagricha. She felt that our pen is our best friend, who would never judge us.
