Meet Barooj Lone who is 20 years old a resident of Nowgam Srinagar
Barooj Lone, aims to represent Kashmir on a wider platform is a treat to heare,He has done his schooling at Candid Higher Secondary institute Nowgam Srinagar, pursuing his bachelor's degree from Abdul Ahad Azad Memorial Degree College Bemina also running his family business.
"From my childhood, I was fascinated with singing and used to sing occasionally in school functions"
It was 2018 when he worked on his first Kashmiri song “Heariye” which was released on his own YouTube channel BAROOJ MUSIC"
He has performed live in youth festival 2018 and Kashmir festival 2018 at SKICC and indoor stadium Srinagar.
His aim has always been to resuscitate the culture of Kashmiri folk songs and music.
And wanted to represent it on wider platforms.
After “Heariye” the thought of reviving Kashmiri culture always played in his mind.
Recently a Kashmiri folk song “Ladishah” sung and composed by him was released on his YouTube channel and which got a good response from the people of Kashmir and was supported and admired by many great artists of Kashmir.
While speaking to AUYK Blogs he said "For me my inspiration is myself, I always got inspired from my successions. I never got inspired by anyone but I can say I learned a lot from other artists"

In the future, he is planning to work on many other Kashmiri songs and the focus will be to revive the Kashmiri culture which many of the artists are not focusing on
