While having a conversation with AUYK Blogs, she said “By the time kids become teenagers, they're often experiencing a wide range of emotions and are starting to think long term (like what the rest of their life might look like). Poetry are excellent resources to help them navigate these thoughts and feelings, and the more inspiring they are, the more hope they offer.

To be honest there hasn't been a single book that saved my life, but there have been books that made me seek help I need or made me see something different or most importantly help me embrace myself”

I have anxiety and poetry are my escape from it but sometimes they are also my way of accepting and embracing it.

May be my pain is your pain

And the questions I asked were the ones you wanted answering. We grew up together.

“I still remember I start writing at the age of 13. When I was in 9th standard after 1 year of my father’s death as there was no one with whom I can share my feelings and my thoughts. At that time I was suffering from anxiety and than once I took a pen and notebook I wrote a poem and than I proceed my work than it makes the collection of poems so I came to publish my books and than I continue my writing and I make my writing my books my best friend”

Note from the Author

You have also heard about it “Father is called the middle door of paradise”. My dear father (Late Farooq Ahmed Lone) thanks for being always my real hero, who always aspire me to do bigger things he became my inspiration my motivation, I get inspired from him. May almighty grant him highest place in Jinnah. You have heard about that “Paradise lies beneath the feet of our mother”. My dear mother (Rubeena Begum), a special thanks for all the things you do for me, I feel proud that she is my mother. If dad has shown dreams, then my mother has helped me in fulfilling those dreams. Without her love and support, this was impossible. Today what I am just because of my parents.

To read poetry is such a gift.

To experience the works of my brothers and sisters, to soak in the lovely words, awful words, tragic words, is like planting seeds inside me.

To write poetry is such a passion.

To bleed emotions onto a blank page for others to embrace. To create this delicate art,

fragile art, beautiful art, is like watering that garden instilled in me ever since I could read,

and finally watching it grow!

And my message to the aspirant poets is just work hard, be creative, motivative and most important become the inspiration for those people who are demotivated in their lives. And who needs your help, help them in positive way with positive thoughts and positive poems.
