Bilal Rah - A fitness model, 19 times a national player and General Secretary of the J&K Powerlifting Association
Bilal Rah from Lal Chowk area of Srinagar is a Fitness Model, General Secretary of the Indian Powerlifting Association is also the Youth icon of Kashmir and has achieved much in his life
Bilal Rah is known as the youth icon of Kashmir now. In 1999, he started his career in judo games and won many medals in judo after which Bilal Rah got selected for judo nationals in 2001. This was the decisive point for him as it provided him with the confidence that ultimately led him to play different 19 National games like Taekwondo judo, wushu, tug of war, cricket, strength lifting, weight lifting, bodybuilding, Powerlifting etc
Bilal Rah started to get more interested in bodybuilding and took the National Referee course in powerlifting. Since the start of his career, he had dreamed of making a platform for our youths and since Kashmir was lacking such a platform, he started to organize events in different districts in Kashmir.
He was also working at Mumbai as model but due to the family pressure especially by his Mother. Then Bilal Rah left his modeling carrier and came back to Kashmir to live with his family
Bilal Rah has got a good response to this, and as a result, powerlifting and bodybuilding are at their peak in the valley.
He has been honoured by 100%Raw Powerlifting association which choose him as the general secretary of the Jammu and Kashmir Powerlifting association and general secretary of the Indian Powerlifting association. Recently he got affiliated with Scitron to be their brand ambassador.
After being in powerlifting for so long and being honoured with such positions Bilal Ahmad Rah believed to study further and got a degree as a certified nutritionist, and Anabolic and advanced personal training gymnasium.
Bilal Rah got selected for International which will be taking place in Dubai on the 12th of June but unfortunately due to the lack of exposure in Kashmir, he didn't get any sponsor.
