Arsalaan Shah, a young Entrepreneur by profession and Social Activist by choice from Srinagar
Arsalan Rafiq Shah from Lawaypora Srinagar, is an Entrepreneur by profession but a Social Activist by choice, he is helping the poor by supplying essentials to meet their demands during any contingency.
From the beginning, Arsalan Rafiq was doing Social Service, but 1 Year ago, He started a Foundation namely "Azif Foundation".
Four years back on the occasion of eid as always like everyone, Arsalan Rafiq was also wearing new clothes and he saw a little innocent kid cry saying "Baba everyone has got new clothes" this line touched Arsalan Rafiq's heart, and he decided to help poor and needy people.
A Social Activist fights for many issues such as Child labour, Universal right to education Child abuse etc. A Social activist essentially engages in advocacy, confronting the dynamic social challenges through constitutional means.
Activism means an effort or action to address issues and basic demands for the society under the Socio-Political System. It primarily involves the advocacy of an activist which enhances the functionality mechanism so that the activist would advocate much beyond his/her services. In contrast volunteering, he is by far helping the poor by supplying essentials to meet their demands during any contingency. But Social Activist has divergent areas to perform in the same domain, in the same way Arsalan Rafiq has helped people individually at the time of COVID. While speaking to AUYK Blogs, he said "You know as they say "agr dahine hath sa koi madad ka Kaam Karo to behine hath ko bhi pata na lage", I belong from the exact school of thought"
Arsalan Rafiq, take no funds from any organisations and help people by the profit he get in his business.
Arsalan Rafiq, has done and attended small scale events in a rural area and according to him, people from rural areas get less exposure than the city but he has tried his best way to support the people living in those areas in terms of talent.
Arsalan Rafiq has always been inspired by the personality of people who always intend to help the needy and poor.
