Speaking on the occasion, Miss Gurpreet highlighted the cultural significance of Teej festival and said in Punjab, the monsoon month is eagerly awaited to celebrate this traditional festival of Teej.
She further said that no society without having its roots entrenched in its culture can survive for long. She said that when daughters are happy, it brings happiness to the whole house. He presented Swing as a symbol of woman’s hopes, aspirations and dreams to cross all barriers obstructing her growth and advancement in life.
The College beautifully celebrated the event which was organised by "Student Council" of Adesh Institute of Paramedical Sciences. The students from the different courses like Bsc Dialysis Technology, Operation Theatre Technology, Cardiac Care Technology, Radiology and Imaging Technology and many more courses had participated in this event
There was also a special Haryanvi dance performance performed by Pooja Poonia. The Lovjeet bangra group also graced the event with the authentic Punjabi Bangra.
The skit was acted in the event in which the theme "Women Empowerment" were shown to the audience
The staff congratulated the faculty and students, for making the celebrations a grand event by presenting colourful folk dance gidha and cultural songs, the Kashmiri students performed "Rouf", an cultural dance of Kashmir which was loved by the audience
