Rutba Showkat, hailing from Khayam, Srinagar has achieved a lot in her life at a young age.
Rutba Showkat is one of the youngest girls for Kashmir to won Gold at nationals. She has a collection of 15 Gold Medals, 2 Silver Medals and 1 Bronze Medal.
She has won these medals for Thang ta and Penchak Silat
(Panchak silat is an umbrella term for a category of related Indonesian martial arts. In neighbouring countries, the term usually refers to professional competitive silat.
It is a full-body fighting form incorporating strikes, grappling and throwing additionally to weaponry. Every part of the body is employed and subject to attack. Penchak silat was practised not just for physical defence but also for psychological ends.)
Apart from this, she is also a professional Sketch Artist, Cyclist, Calligrapher & Mountain Climber.
As being a girl this was so hard for me to achieve this much but I never lose hope and Struggled very hard to achieve this much.
