Mehak Sofi : A girl from Mattan , Anantnag is an new inspiration for Cricket Lovers
Mehak Sofi hails from Mattan Akoora of Anantnag District is playing cricket at the National level and participated in different tournaments at Himachal Pradesh in 2016
Mehak Sofi is 19 years old athlete who also played at Rajkot Gujarat and Goa under 19 and also under 23 Bangalore. She has been as best wicketkeeper for KPL as well
She has played 3 U-19 then got selected for U-23 and then for senior woman's T20 and recently got selected for Ranji trophy 2021 that held at Bangalore and also received an award from Nana Patekar for cricket.
Each story has the efforts, courage and dedication and this one beginning in schools since that is the place where the enthusiasm for the sport is conceived.
As per the Women and Sport report, ladies who take part in Sports at school have a 76% possibility of staying keen on sports for the rest of their lives.
During the 1970s and 1980s young ladies' cooperation in these exercises expanded, and it has been these ladies who have reversed the situation from that point forward.
