Shiekh Umaira : a girl from small beautiful village check Nutnussa of District Kupwara of Kashmir valley, currently a student of GDC handwara and with that she is also preparing for NEET
She is also a social activist. Recently she have started her youtube channel namely Shiekh Umaira in which she discuss about social evils that are still in our societies
While having a conversation with AUYK Blogs , Shiekh Umaira said :
No matter how advanced our Kashmir has become, there are many factors that need attention.. There are numerous social evils in our Kashmir and are spreading at such a fast speed that it becomes very hard for the individual to stop them. Here are two main social evil in our society
1. Illiteracy
Illiteracy has been one issue that is changing in a good way but at a lethargic speed. One issue can expand different issues like neediness, joblessness, population burst, etc. Kashmir has been managing lack of education since from early age but the efforts really need to be strong enough to eradicate this social evil as soon as possible.
2. Body Shaming
Body Shaming has been one issue in talks that are being seen nowadays. Beginning from the body Shaming to victim Shaming , individuals believe it's their right to pass judgment on the other individual as per their low standard attitude.
Shiekh Umaira is trying her best to finish social evils from the society. She want to do something for Kashmir, She want to explore Kashmir.
She want to be a role model for girls of Kashmir who are struggling for their future.
"My family always supports me in every aspect . My father is a Government teacher. My father supports me in every field whatever is my aim he supports me" said Sheikh Umaira
Since from the childhood she was very attached to social media.She is very found of Kashmiri Culture and love to listen Radio kashmir and 98.3 Red fm.
