In a vibrant move for the Indian art community, three seasoned artists—Rajan Soni, Aman Deep Suri and Tejasvi Rao—have come together to start a new journey as co-founders of Hauz Khas Studio, launched on 1st January 2025 in the heart of Hauz Khas Village, Delhi.
Rajan Soni, 27, a tattoo and piercing artist from Rajasthan, carries a rich experience of 12 years in the field. His work is known for its precision and modern aesthetic. Aman Deep Suri, 33, from Delhi, brings over 15 years of expertise in tattooing, piercing, wall art, sketching and painting. His bold creativity and attention to detail have earned him wide recognition. The third founder, Tejasvi Rao, a 39-year-old from Bangalore, has dedicated the past 9 years to tattoo art, and is known for his clean and expressive design work.
The trio were previously working at different studios. Over time, their paths crossed, and what began as professional interaction gradually turned into creative alignment. Driven by a shared vision, they decided to start something of their own. That idea took shape as Hauz Khas Studio.
What sets Hauz Khas Studio apart is its open-door policy for all artists. It is not just a workspace but a creative playground, where anyone—from tattooists and sketch artists to dancers and painters—can come, showcase their talent, and even collaborate. The founders hope to create a safe and encouraging space for both emerging and established artists.
Speaking to AUYK Media, they shared, “Our studio is more than just a place—it’s a platform. Every artist is welcome here. We want this to be a home for all kinds of creativity.”
In a city where artistic spaces are often limited by genre, Hauz Khas Studio offers something rare—freedom of expression without boundaries.
