Young Kashmiri Artist, Faisal Farooz, Sets Sights on Artistic Success after 12th Class Qualification

Faisal Farooz, a 19-year-old resident of the scenic village of Gulzarpora in South Kashmir, is on the path to realizing his dream of becoming an artist. Born on April 20, 2004, Faisal recently celebrated a significant milestone in his academic journey by qualifying 12th class.

From an early age, Faisal displayed a passion for the arts, particularly sketching, calligraphy, and painting. His sketches, crafted with intricate detail, reflect his love for creativity. "Sketching gives me a different kind of pleasure; I can't explain," says Faisal, who describes himself as an optimist, friendly, and a brave boy.

Fueled by a deep-rooted dream, Faisal diligently works towards his artistic aspirations, demonstrating a commitment to hard work. "I always try to work hard towards my dream. I'm very creative and interested in doing something different, mostly using my abilities to create something artistic," he shares.

Apart from his artistic pursuits, Faisal actively engages in various sports, showcasing his versatility and passion for a well-rounded lifestyle. Behind his journey stands a person who has been a constant source of encouragement and support—his mother. Faisal fondly expresses, "The best part of my life is my mother. She is my idol, my mentor, and my love. She understands me every single time. I'm very fortunate to have a mom like her."
